SUNGAI PETANI, March 5– The youngest son of national footballer Baddrol Bakhtiar, Muhammad Darwisy, who passed away this morning, has been laid to rest.

The 12-month-old’s body was buried at the Raudhatul Solihin Islamic Cemetery in Taman Kelisa Ria, Sungai Petani, this afternoon. Prior to the burial, a prayer was held for Muhammad Darwisy at the Al-Muttaqin Taman Ria Mosque, led by his father.

Earlier, Baddrol announced on Facebook that his son had passed away at their home in Sungai Petani at approximately 3:15 am this morning.

Muhammad Darwisy had been battling a heart condition since birth and was a twin to Dhiya Dinara.

Baddrol and his wife, Nur Izyan Mustafa Khalid, 37, are also parents to two other daughters, Dhiya Daniya, 4, and Dhiya Delisha, 9.
