LIPIS, Dec 26- Two Temporary Evacuation Centres (PPS) in Lipis district, Pahang were closed at 12.20 pm today.

The Pahang State Disaster Management Committee Secretariat in a statement announced that the PPS involved were Sekolah Kebangsaan Lubuk Kulit and Masjid Kampung Beletik.

The situation thus saw the floods in Pahang completely receding.

All 89 residents from 27 affected families were allowed to return to their respective homes.

Before that, the PPS Balai Raya Kampung Tersang in Raub was also closed at 8.00 am today.

Meanwhile, based on the Public Infobanjir website of the Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS), three rivers in Pahang were at the alert level as of 1.00 pm today, namely Sungai Jelai at Jeti Lipis, Sungai Dong in Kampung Peruas, Raub and Sungai Pahang in Kuala Krau, Temerloh.
