KUALA LUMPUR, 8 December - Communications Minister, Fahmi Fadzil, today spent time visiting the Seri Cempaka People's Housing Programme (PPR) in Pantai Dalam today.

Fahmi, who is also Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament, spent time with a visually impaired couple in their residential unit.

He spent about half an hour with the couple, Mohd Hairi Ismail and Rosnita Lah, who work as masseurs in the capital.

The couple also received assistance to repaint their house through the Lembah Pantai Peduli Ummah Tour programme in collaboration with the Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisations (MAPIM).

Fahmi later mingled with residents and autistic children in conjunction with the Kenduri Rakyat Programme at IWK Eco Park.
