KUALA LUMPUR, February 5- The application for an additional 10,000 quota of pilgrims for this year is still awaiting the consideration by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
According to the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, the additional quota will allow more pilgrims to perform Hajj this year.
"The Tabung Haji will always provide the best service and full cooperation.
"We will also always remind the pilgrims, including this year's pilgrims, to continue to comply with the regulations that have been set. This is to protect the good name of the pilgrims and Tabung Haji.
"I believe all pilgrims will take this matter into account," he said after Handover Ceremony of a 25-tonne date donation in conjunction with Ramadan 2025 by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Sulaiman Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
The donation was handed over by the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Malaysia, Mesaad Ibrahim Al Sulaim in the capital.
