KUALA LUMPUR, May 4 - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on all parties to postpone any action or issue statement regarding the Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS) and Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (PETROS) issue on the basis of mutual interest.
He said further discussions to finalise the issue would be held immediately after the return of Sarawak Premier, Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg from an official visit to London, United Kingdom.
"I had the opportunity to speak with Sarawak Premier Abang Johari Openg yesterday regarding the PETRONAS-PETROS matter based on the principles that were previously agreed upon.
"I have high confidence that this issue can be resolved prudently by standing firmly on the path of healthy and meaningful discourse, God willing," said Datuk Seri Anwar via a post on Facebook.
