LAWAS, March 2 – Hotel Seri Malaysia Lawas has partnered with RTM Sarawak to ensure the success of this year's 13th Edition of the Jelajah Ramadan (JR) program, aimed at assisting the less fortunate in Lawas during the Ramadan celebration.

Mohd Jailani Ab Salam, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Hotel Seri Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, stated that the hotel's involvement in JR is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to provide support while engaging with the local community.

"This marks the third time Hotel Seri Malaysia has participated in the Jelajah Ramadan program, contributing to the success of the 'Kongsi Rezeki Bersama' initiative," he said when speaking to reporters.

During the donation presentation ceremony, the hotel provided cash donations to 26 orphans, with one receiving a wheelchair.

Additionally, hotel and RTM Sarawak staff collaborated to prepare and distribute bubur lambuk to the local community in Lawas.

"My hope is that such programs will continue, and that we at Hotel Seri Malaysia Sdn. Bhd are always open to collaborating, especially on community-based initiatives that benefit the local population," he added.
