JERLUN, March 10- The Kedah State Education Department (JPN) remains committed to ensuring the welfare and education of underprivileged students, including orphans, half-orphans, and those from poor backgrounds in the state.
JPN Kedah Director Ismail Othman stated that these students will receive special attention to prevent them from falling behind in their studies.
"These students not only need knowledge in the classroom, but also support from all parties and hands willing to provide contributions.
"They also require encouragement and motivation to remain resilient in navigating life's challenges.
"Hardship should not be seen as an obstacle to achieving success," he said.
He made these remarks after presenting Ramadan contributions to 40 orphans, half-orphans, and needy individuals residing in the dormitory of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Ayer Hitam in Jerlun, Kedah.
The cash donations aim to inspire them to continue their education and work together towards building a brighter future.
