Johor Government Sends SRBJ Educators to Singapore for Innovative Teaching Exposure

Teachers receive a briefing on modern Teaching and Learning (TnL) techniques and STEM and English-based co-curricular activities aimed at enhancing students' interest in these critical fields.

SINGAPORE, February 11 - The Johor government sent teachers and the leadership team from the Sekolah Rintis Bangsa Johor (SRBJ) to Singapore yesterday to gain exposure to innovative teaching approaches in the republic.

The Johor Executive Council member for Education and Information, Aznan Tamin, stated that among the insights they gained was the Applied Learning Program, which focuses on critical thinking and innovation.

The involved teachers were also exposed to Interdisciplinary Learning methods, which integrate various subjects for holistic thinking and creative problem-solving.

In addition, they experienced project-based learning, educating students through collaborative projects that foster teamwork.

They were also introduced to modern teaching and learning techniques, as well as STEM and English co-curricular activities.

This initiative is part of the Johor government's efforts to continuously equip teachers with the best skills to realize a quality education vision.
