KOTA BHARU, Nov 6- The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) has made repairing damaged roads in Pos Gob a major priority.
According to its director-general, Datuk Sapiah Mohd Nor, the issue is already part of JAKOA’s plans and will be funded through the current government allocation for this year.
“As outlined in JAKOA’s plans, and within the available budget, road repairs will be carried out at the appropriate time,” she said.
On Sunday, media reports emphasized the worries of Pos Gob's Temiar Orang Asli community, which has approximately 1,000 inhabitants.
The community urged officials to move quickly to rebuild the main route before the monsoon season.
This road is their only access to daily activities, which frequently forces them to cross muddy paths or confront instances where motorcycle tyres become stuck in thick mud.
