PETALING JAYA, 6 December- The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert-level continuous rain warning for five states from 8 to 11 December.

Continuous rain is expected to persist in Perlis, Kelantan and Terengganu.

Meanwhile, in Kedah, it involves areas such as Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Pendang, Sik and Baling, as well as Perak (Hulu Perak).

Alert-level continuous rain is expected from 9 to 11 December, involving two states, namely Pahang and Johor.

In Pahang, Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Jerantut, Maran, Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin are expected to face continuous rainfall, while Johor’s Mersing and Kota Tinggi districts will be affected.
