KUALA LUMPUR, 23 February- The roles, duties and responsibilities assumed by the Cabinet members will impact and shape the future of the 34 million people of this country, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar also stressed the importance of the Cabinet to act as a team that requires a strong spirit of togetherness and unity.

"If there is still a continuation of abuse of power, corruption, betrayal, and so on, it will be quite difficult for the MADANI Government to make changes and continue to pursue the dream of becoming a developed and competitive country on the world stage.

"I would like to inform you that this retreat (MADANI Government Retreat 2025) does not just provide an opportunity for ministers to present their views, but also functions as a platform to receive reports and criticism from impartial parties, including academics and civil servants.

"I believe that criticism should be accepted with an open heart, thus providing space to improve the gaps in the government, thus leading to the need for unity and togetherness to function as a MADANI Government that truly upholds the voice and hopes of the people," he said through his Facebook post.
