PUTRAJAYA, 19 February - The Federal Territories Ministry will accelerate the implementation of the 'Zero Potholes' Policy with the response time reduced from 24 hours to only 12 hours.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), Dr Zaliha Mustapa said the challenge is presented to the relevant agencies to expedite the process of repairing potholes by utilizing the latest technology.
"God willing, we will try our best to expedite this effort from 24 hours to 12 hours. I think this can be done with the technology we have," she said.
"Complaints can be submitted immediately to the authorities, and God willing, action can be taken more quickly," she said at a press conference after officiating the Minister's Aspiration Ceremony at the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories) 2025, here, today.
She described this initiative as a form of reform in government services to improve the efficiency of relevant agencies in addressing the issue of potholes.
She also informed that the public can lodge complaints related to potholes through the Aduan@KL and KL Strike Force applications for immediate action by the authorities.
