Village communities have the opportunity to receive grants of up to RM100,000 under Sejati MADANI

MARANG, Feb 15- Village communities with potential profit-generating projects are now invited to apply for grants under the MADANI Community Wellbeing Programme (SejaTi MADANI).

Datuk Nik Nasaruddin Mohd Zawawi, Director-General of the Prime Minister's Department Coordination Unit, announced that eligible communities could receive funding of up to RM100,000 to support their initiatives.

He expressed his hope that the communities benefiting from the grants would make the most of the allocated funds to improve the well-being of their areas.

"Last year, the SejaTi MADANI Program, implemented under Budget 2024, received applications amounting to RM1.52 billion within just six months," Nik Nasaruddin shared. "The program’s implementation was highly successful, with spending performance reaching 100% of the RM590 million allocated, benefiting 6,021 communities."

He made these remarks while officiating the Santuni MADANI Carnival in Kampung Pekan Bukit Payong. During the event, Nik Nasaruddin also presented various forms of assistance, including Back To School aid, motorcycle assistance, and eKasih aid.

For the SejaTi MADANI initiative in Terengganu, 615 projects across 615 communities were approved for 2024, with a total allocation of RM60 million.
