KULAI, March 22 - Two more National Information Dissemination Centers (NADI) in Johor will be opened at the end of this month.

Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching stated that the locations are in the Sri Gading parliamentary constituency at Kampung Bukit Sri Wangi, Batu Pahat, and in the Larkin state assembly at Kebun Teh, Johor Bahru.

She mentioned that the opening of these two NADI Centers will complete a total of 101 NADI centers in Johor, in line with the initiative of 1 State Assembly 1 NADI.

"We strongly encourage the local residents to come and enjoy the facilities provided by NADI. For each NADI, we have at least 20 laptops available for use.

"It can either be for e-classes or NADI intends to train e-entrepreneurs.

"This is also one of the initiatives under NADI where we aim to help increase household income," said Teo Nie Ching when met by reporters at the opening ceremony of the NADI center in Senai.

Approximately 4,000 entrepreneurs are expected to benefit from the training provided, with each center selecting eight entrepreneurs for training.

Out of the eight entrepreneurs, four will be chosen to become NADI Icons, and subsequently, the two participants with the highest performance will be sent for further training.
