PUTRAJAYA, January 9- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today launched the MADANI Touch Kiosk in Putrajaya.

He was accompanied by the Minister of Communications who is also the spokesperson of the unity government, Fahmi Fadzil, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territory) Dr Zaliha Mustafa and Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali.

The initiative was introduced to improve public services as well as speed up the delivery of government services to the people as announced by the Prime Minister in Budget 2025.

More than 90 types of government services are brought together through digital kiosks that operate in public areas to make it easier for citizens to access public services outside of office hours.

In the first phase, the kiosk will operate at the Alamanda shopping centre, Putrajaya while KL Sentral will be the second location for the next phase and is expected to start operating at the end of February this year.

Agencies involved in the initial pilot phase include the Road Transport Department (JPJ), MyDigital ID (MIMOS), Retirement Savings Fund (PFS), Pos Malaysia and the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).
