QATAR, 10 January - Qatar has shown a deep interest in investing in Johor and is ready to introduce the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) to major investors in its country.

Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi who led the working visit in Qatar, informed that Qatar's international network opens great opportunities for strategic cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting with Qatar's Foreign Trade Minister Dr Ahmad Al Sayed is part of efforts to strengthen economic and trade relations between Johor and Middle Eastern countries, especially Qatar.

The collaboration gives international exposure to Johor, further bringing great benefits to the people, including job opportunities and new facilities.

On Hafiz hopes that the efforts made will advance Johor, making it an economic hub that is recognized at the global level.
