PADANG BESAR, August 1 -The information department (japen) in Perlis will organise more than 45 programmes to enliven the national month, the waving the Jalur Gemilang campaign as well as Malaysia day 2024 celebrations.

Japen Perlis director, Mazli Hamdan said the programme which will start today until september 16 involves 45 madani communities in each constituency of the state legislative assembly (dun).

Among the programmes that will be implemented include the Jalur Gemilang Merdeka Campaign, The One House One Jalur Gemilang Campaign and The Merdeka Cheer Competition.

"In addition to the community campaigns, we will organise the Jiwa MADANI programme in every dun to enliven the atmosphere of this national month
celebration.

"We are also planning to implement the Jalur gemilang distribution programme in every location that will be confirmed soon" he said.

He said this when met at the Launching Ceremony of the National Month and the Perlis State Level Flag Flying Campaign in Timah Tasoh, here.

Mazli added that every programme organized aims to boost the patriotic spirit among the people.
