PUTRAJAYA, 27 November- The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) will launch the Putrajaya Festival of Ideas (Putrajaya FOI) as an annual event in at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, said 80 esteemed leaders and subject matter experts, academicians, and industry professionals will gather in forums and parallel sessions through the Malaysia Ideas Conference (MyIDEAS).

"To show our commitment, the MOHE will organise the Festival of Ideas yearly. The MADANI government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, will continue to stand for education and the expansion of ideas in order to nurture an intellectual, moral, and competitive generation," he said during the MyIDEAS opening ceremony at Putrajaya today.

This inaugural event was attended by several ministers and deputy ministers as forum panellists, including Minister of Communications, Fahmi Fadzil.

Tomorrow, the Prime Minister is scheduled to discuss the topic of Idea Anak Muda Malaysia in the Putrajaya FOI Talk.
