KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24– The visits of world leaders to Malaysia reflect the country's credibility as an investment and technology hub capable of transforming the global economic landscape.

Dr. Bashir Ahmad Shabir Ahmad, a Senior Economics Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), stated that this is supported by excellent economic growth over the past two years, which has boosted investor confidence.

"Among the factors contributing to this recent development is the continuous effort by the Malaysian government through Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who has visited nearly 50 countries worldwide.

By presenting Malaysia as a nation with capacity and capability, as well as the potential for high investment and technology development," Dr. Bashir told reporters today.

He noted that political stability is also a key measure for foreign countries in assessing Malaysia as a safe investment destination.

This is further reinforced by the clearer policies of the Madani government, which prioritize transparency and good governance.
