PUTRAJAYA, August 5 - The majority of civil servants have shown exceptional dedication to the government, particularly in delivering services and contributing to the country's progress.

This commitment is evident in the recent economic achievements, such as the strengthened ringgit and increased in investment and government project implementation.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim highlighted that these accomplishments would not have been possible without the dedication and sacrifices of civil servants.

“The government is fortunate because, while media coverage often focuses on weaknesses, delays and issues, which we acknowledge, it is less emphasised that most civil servants go above and beyond in their duties. They invest their full commitment and energy into serving the nation," he remarked.

“Though many have contributed significantly, my personal experience leading this country has shown me that civil servants truly dedicate themselves, giving their time and energy, including on weekends.

Datuk Seri Anwar made these remarks during the Monthly Gathering with the Staff of the Prime Minister's Department in August, held in Putrajaya.
