KUALA LUMPUR, January 22 - The Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP) will ensure that the main targets of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) are achieved by 2025 in addition to preparing for the 13MP.

Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Datuk Ewon Benedick said that as the ASEAN Chairman, KUSKOP will also organise important events such as the 19th ASEAN Coordinating Committee for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME) and the launch of the ASEAN Centre of Excellence on Green Transition, to strengthen the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem.

"Through the Strategic Plan 2025, which was launched today, a total of 196 programs have been planned to assist more than 500,000 entrepreneurs, in line with the goals of the National Entrepreneurship Policy 2030 and the MADANI Economy agenda.

"The commitment of all parties is also needed in supporting the development of entrepreneurship and increasing the country's competitiveness at the global level," he said.

He said this while addressing the Ministerial Mandate 2025 to KUSKOP members and agencies in the capital.
