KUALA LUMPUR, January 22 - No Malaysians were reported to be involved in the tragic fire incident at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort, Bolu, Turkiye.
Wisma Putra in a statement informed that the Malaysian government through the Malaysian Embassy in Ankara and the Malaysian Consulate General in Istanbul is closely monitoring the developments regarding the incident.
"So far, the incident has claimed 76 lives and 51 people have been reported injured.
"The Malaysian Government expresses its condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Turkey as well as the families and victims involved," the statement said.
Malaysia stands in solidarity with those affected and prays for strength and perseverance in facing this difficult time.
