IPOH, Jan 10- The number of residents affected by the flood in the Manjung district in Perak increased to 25 people from six families, as of pm today.

The Secretariat of the District Disaster Management Committee said, in a statement, that a temporary relief center (PPS) is still operating in the area.

"All the affected residents are placed in the PPS at Sekolah Agama Rakyat (SAR) Padang Serai which was opened since yesterday afternoon.

"The move involves residents from Kampung Padang Serai, Kampung Kasi and Kampung Pengkalan Damar," according to the statement.
