KUCHING, April 16- A factory owned by a hardware company was destroyed by fire in an incident on Stephen Yong Road, Pipe Factory here last night.

The Sarawak Fire Operations Center received an emergency call regarding the incident at 9.52 pm.

Fire teams from the Batu Lintang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), Padungan BBP, and Tabuan Jaya BBP were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival at the location, the fire involved a warehouse for non-permanent structure plastic manufacturing.

The extinguishing operation was successfully controlled at 10.57 pm.
