KUALA LUMPUR, 3 January - Efforts to make RTM an inspiring brand for other television stations will continue this year.

Director General of Broadcasting, Datuk Suhaimi Sulaiman said this will be realized through the use of algorithmic technology in the publication and evaluation of programs suitable for local and global tastes.

"We must make sure that programmes we produce will fulfill the needs and wants of our viewers. Most importantly, it has to be of a certain standard so that when people look at the product, they will be so inspired, they will say there must be a great team behind this production," he said to reporters here.

"So that's what we want to be, RTM wants to be. And in fact we are already on our journey there. We must be an inspiring brand," he added.

Suhaimi was speaking after the Broadcasting Department's monthly gathering at Angkasapuri, Media City.

At the event, Suhaimi also shared the various successes achieved by RTM throughout 2024.
