KANGAR, Dec 7- The Sejahtera Sales Programme in Perlis is among the initiatives to help the people, in addition to the Rahmah Sales Programme by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) and the Agro MADANI Sales carried out by agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM).
The Sejahtera Sales Programme, which includes selling fresh chicken at low prices, is seen as helping to ease the economic burden borne by local communities in obtaining daily necessities.
According to State EXCO member and Sena assemblywoman, Marzita Mansor, the Sejahtera Sales Programme covers the whole State Legislative Assembly (DUN) area to enable local residents to obtain chickens at low prices.
"Apart from saving on daily expenses, this effort also allows residents to obtain quality fresh goods directly from suppliers. This effort will continue to be supported by holding regular sales to help residents in the surrounding area," she said.
She said this at the Sena state assembly level Sales Programme at the Sena DUN Service Centre premises.
The programme was carried out in collaboration with the Indera Kayangan DUN Service Center and local chicken supplier, Nas Madi Venture Sdn Bhd.
