TAMING SARI, 4 February - Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) will use a more interesting and innovative approach in delivering information to the people in preparation for the 16th General Election (GE16).
Director-General of Broadcasting, Datuk Suhaimi Sulaiman said the move included the use of the latest technology to present data in a more effective and engaging manner.
"We are re-examining how we use data and presenting it in a more engaging way. This includes for existing programs as well as preparations in the event of a State Legislative Assembly Election, for example," he said.
"This was discussed in depth today, including how we can leverage the latest technology to present data in a more entertaining way," he added.
"We cannot get stuck with old methods like using bar charts alone. A more appropriate and relevant approach needs to be used so that information can be better received by today's audience and that is what we are working on," he said.
He said this when met after attending a Coordination Meeting at RTM Melaka, Jalan Taming Sari, today.
