PRactitioners unveils new vision for PR industry

KUALA LUMPUR, September 3 -The Public Relations Practitioners Society of Malaysia (PRactitioners) announced the new vision to its members in enhancing the Public Relations (PR) profession as well as empower practitioners at all career levels.

Among those introduced are networking opportunities, professional development, resource libraries, mentoring programmes, and recognition and awards.

Chairman of PRactitioners, Datuk P Kamalanathan said it is part of the commitment of the association in shaping the future industry and fostering excellence in communication.

“Our aim is to create a united global community of PR professionals who can tackle today’s complex communication challenges.

“We envision a world where PR is recognised as an important strategic function in every organisation where practitioners are from diverse cultures and backgrounds, working together towards positive changes,” he said in a statement.

Kamalanathan added that by fostering global collaborations, PRactitioners are not only able to expand the network but also create a diverse ecosystem of ideas and practices to drive the PR industry forward.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of PRactitioners, Syed Mohammed Idid in the same statement emphasises the company’s commitment to inclusivity.

“Our goal is to bring the art of PR to life regardless of their professional status. Whether you are a sole entrepreneur, part of a national agency, or working with a global PR firm.

“By providing resources and opportunities for professionals at all levels, we are not only supporting individuals careers, we are also enriching the entire PR ecosystem.
