KUALA LUMPUR, March 8- In conjunction with International Women's Day 2025, Pos Malaysia Berhad launched a Special Postage Stamp themed around women, celebrating their roles and contributions in society.

The initiative is the first collaboration between Pos Malaysia and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM), symbolic of efforts to empower women in various fields.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the collaboration carries great significance because it not only celebrates women, but also strengthens the commitment to produce more female leaders in various fields, including in the fields of economics, social and politics.

"This stamp is not just a collection, it is a symbol of appreciation and recognition for women. The faces of women depicted remind us of the importance of cooperation and continuous support to empower them," she said.

The Special Postage Stamp was inspired by the Women's Development Department (JPW) and features two unique designs combined in one sheet, each worth RM1.30.

Also launched are First Day covers complete with a special date stamp and the official logo of International Women's Day 2025.

The special edition also offers postcards and folders, with the complete set priced at RM38.10.

Philately enthusiasts and the public can obtain this special collection at selected Post Offices nationwide or online via the Pos Malaysia website at www.pos.com.my.
