MELAKA, March 15 - The Melaka Ministry of Domestic Trade and Costs of Living (KPDN) has so far not received any complaints from consumers regarding the prices of food sold at the Ramadan Bazaar.

State Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Cost of Living Exco, Allex Seah Shoo Chin said the ministry received six complaints in the previous year.

"Last year we heard that some people were selling too expensive. Of course, if it's too expensive, we'll get a complaint and then do an investigation.

"But so far from the traders or hawkers in Melaka, we hope everyone can take the initiative so that at the same time they can make a profit," said Allex.

He said this to reporters after the Launch of the Melaka State Level Ramadan Rahmah Bazaar in Duyong.

Meanwhile, a total of 225 traders in Melaka have voluntarily registered and offered the Rahmah Menu in conjunction with the implementation of the Ramadan Rahmah Bazaar (BRR) this year.

The BRRs involved are in three locations, namely BRR Taman Seri Duyong, BBR Jasin Bestari and BBR Pekan Alor Gajah.
