LANGKAWI, Dec 27- Public servants in Kedah expressed their appreciation to Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for the recent salary increase.
Datuk Seri Anwar said in a Facebook post that he met with public servants who expressed their gratitude for the recent salary increase.
During his visit, Anwar emphasized the importance of enhancing performance and service quality for the people.
The visit commenced with lunch at the Kak Yan Nasi Campur stall, followed by Friday prayers at Al-Hana Mosque in Kuah.
He took the opportunity to engage with the locals and listen to their views and concerns.
After the prayers, Anwar met with residents and students to discuss the state of basic facilities and infrastructure in schools, including toilets and classrooms, as well as the comfort of both teachers and students.
He assured that he would carefully review all feedback, complaints, and issues raised by the people of Langkawi.
