PETALING JAYA, Nov 12- Five vehicles were stranded in a flash flood at Persiaran Surian Damansara, Taman Pelangi Damansara, Petaling Jaya following heavy rain this morning.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) stated that the Petaling Jaya Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) received an emergency call about the incident at 8.09 a.m., after which a team was dispatched to the scene for further action.

The five vehicles were stranded for approximately 30 minutes in the flash flood, but no individuals were affected in the incident.

At the time of the incident, the water level was reported to be about 0.3 meters, and it has since shown signs of receding.

The rescue operation involved eight personnel, along with a fire engine and an Emergency Services Assistance Unit.

No injuries or fatalities were reported.
