YAYSH Sponsors Free Circumcision for 56 Orphans

The Sultanah Haminah Foundation for Orphans (YAYSH) has taken the initiative to sponsor 56 orphans and underprivileged children for free circumcision

ALOR SETAR, Jan 21- The month-long school holiday that began a few days ago has provided parents the opportunity to circumcise their children.

Those less fortunate, including orphans, are certainly not forgotten.

The Sultanah Haminah Foundation for Orphans (YAYSH) has taken the initiative to sponsor 56 orphans and underprivileged children for free circumcision.

Che Puan Besar Kedah Tuanku Hajah Haminah Hamidun, stated that all the orphans and underprivileged children, aged between three and 13, were selected from six districts in Kedah.

This included nine participants from the Kota Setar district, 12 from Kubang Pasu, 10 from Pokok Sena, seven from Yan, 10 from Pendang, and the rest from the Padang Terap district.

She mentioned that the annual event aims to lighten the burden of family members and guardians caring for the involved orphans and underprivileged children.

“Alhamdulillah, this is a blessing for the orphans this year. They are happy and excited; as children, they are not used to such opportunities before... I feel joyful,” said Tuanku Hajah Haminah to RTM after the Circumcision Donation Ceremony and School Contribution for the Year 2025 at the Sultanah Haminah Orphans Foundation, here.

In addition to the free circumcision, all of the orphans and underprivileged children also received cash donations, school supplies, and hampers.
