Tun Abdullah's services will always be remembered and appreciated

Last respects to the fifth Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the National Mosque/ BERNAMA

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 - "All the services and contributions of the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi while leading the national administration will always be remembered and appreciated," said Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari.

He also expressed his condolences to the entire family of the deceased on the passing of the fifth Prime Minister who breathed his last at the National Heart Institute (IJN).

"As a Prime Minister who has once led the government, he certainly has done a lot of services to the country.

"The national honours and burial at the Heroes' Mausoleum accorded to him are a sign of appreciation from the government and the Malaysian people for all his contributions," he said.

He said this to reporters after paying his last respects to the late Tun Abdullah at the National Mosque here.

"May his soul rest in peace and may all the good things he did during his administration and service be rewarded with the best by Allah SWT," he said.

The passing of the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is a great loss for the country, especially in the world of administration and politics of the country.
