LABUAN, Dec 27- Labuan residents face water supply disruption for three days starting at 3.00 pm this afternoon.

This follows the bandscreen damage at the Lawa Gadong Water Treatment Plant (LRA) being temporarily repaired.

The Labuan Water Supply Department (JBA) said that the water supply will be restored to users on December 29 (Sunday), at 10.00 am.

He said, the process of temporarily closing the water supply will take approximately 42 hours.

"The Lawa Gadong LRA can operate again even if it is not at an optimal level.

"In order to increase the water level in the Bukit Besar Balance Tank and other service tanks, JBAWPL will re-close all the tanks," he said in a statement on Friday.

The statement added, JBA will move the lorry to the existing water tank to the houses of the affected users.

"JBA apologizes for all the difficulties that have occurred and thanks for the cooperation and patience of all parties throughout this period," he said.
