KUALA TERENGGANU, March 26- The Terengganu State Government has announced Sunday, March 30 as a public holiday (occasional holiday) in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration.

The matter was announced by the Menteri Besar of Terengganu, Datuk Seri Ir Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar in a statement on his official Facebook page, last night.

"The state government has agreed to make Sunday, March 30, 2025, a public holiday (occasional holiday) in conjunction with Aidilfitri 1446 Hijrah corresponding to 2025 AD.

"Take advantage of this opportunity to be with your beloved family. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin," he said.

Apart from Terengganu, Melaka is the first state to announce an additional holiday in conjunction with Aidilfitri.
