SHAH ALAM, Nov 7- Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) continues to prove its excellence by gaining 101st place out of 984 universities in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2025.
The position places UiTM in the top 10 percent of the best universities in Asia.
UiTM Vice Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib @ Sahibuddin said the achievement was the result of the efforts of the faculty, students, and staffs of UiTM in maintaining its international position.
"The focus of this institution is to improve academic standards, innovative research, and community involvement that distinguish this institution," he said.
"This year's ranking emphasizes the significant improvement in several key indicators in UiTM's history," he said in a statement, here, today (Nov 7).
UiTM recorded the highest scores for international research network (93.1), employer reputation (82.8), and academic reputation (76), which increased 45 percent compared to last year.
UiTM also intends to continue to strengthen sustainability and social responsibility, in line with its commitment to advance Malaysian higher education.
"This achievement reflects UiTM's effective engagement and collaboration strategy that has received recognition and positive perception from global academic experts," he added.
