SSPA a manifestation of government's appreciation for civil servants

Director of the Staffing and Organization Division of the Public Service Department, Datuk Pauzan Ahmar

KUALA LUMPUR, August 23 -The implementation of the Public Service Remuneration Scheme (SSPA) is a manifestation of the government's appreciation to the approximately 1.6 million civil servants, who continue to strive to put the country on a solid footing.

It is also a public service reform in ensuring that every service to the people is implemented with better quality and integrity.

Director of the Staffing and Organization Division of the Public Service Department, Datuk Pauzan Ahmar said implemantation of the SSPA is timely as it takes into account the increasing cost of living.

"Not just motivation, at the same time we will improve our other service delivery systems to ensure the full adoption of digitalization of technology.

"As artificial intelligence (AI) will be adopted, everything will make this public service delivery smoother, faster and more accurate for the people," said Pauzan Ahmar.

He was met by reporters after being a guest on Selamat Pagi Malaysia, in Angkasapuri.

He added that the salary adjustments contained in the new system are in line with the service and achievements of civil servants as a whole.
