Python and 30 eggs discovered in Kuching village

The five-meter-long python, weighing 50 kilograms, was successfully captured along with its 30 eggs/APM

KUCHING, March 18- A nearly five-meter-long python weighing about 50 kilograms, along with 30 of its eggs, was found in Kampung Tabuan Dani last night.

According to a statement from the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM), they received an emergency call via the MERS hotline at 8:25 PM before rushing to the scene.

The operation to capture the reptile took nearly two hours due to the cramped space under an abandoned vehicle, which hindered the rescue team's movement.

APM reported that the python and its eggs will be handed over to the Sarawak Forestry Department for further action.
