KANGAR, April 16- All 101 mosques in Perlis have been decorated with banners related to the Silver Jubilee Celebration of the 25th year of the reign of the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail on April 17.

Colorful light decorations in various forms also brighten up the main routes throughout Perlis including the main roads in Arau, which is also the Royal City.

In addition, premises and roads are also decorated with the Perlis state flag.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs), Mohd Nazim Mohd Noor, the installation of the banner is a sign of the people's love and loyalty to the Raja of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail.

''May Allah SWT extend the life of Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail in good health, be blessed with happiness and blessings, and always be under the protection of Allah SWT.

"We also pray that His Majesty's reign will continue to be blessed, overflowing with grace, forgiveness from Allah SWT and bring prosperity to the state of Perlis," said Mohd Nazim.

This year's Silver Jubilee celebration is in conjunction with His Majesty's 25 years of reign as the King of Perlis from 2000 to 2025 and His Majesty's 82nd birthday.
