JOHOR BAHRU, Jan 16- The floods in Johor have fully recovered, with the closure of the temporary relief centre, PPS Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Melayu Raya in Pontian, at 2pm.
The State Disaster Management Committee reported that all 17 flood-affected residents who took shelter in the said PPS were allowed to return home.
This morning saw two PPS in Kluang that housed 213 affected residents also closed after the flood situation recovered.
Previously, five districts in Johor were hit by floods during which almost 4,000 affected residents took shelter in several PPS.
According to a MetMalaysia report, continuous rain is however expected to hit six districts in Johor, starting tomorrow until January 19th.
