PM arrives at National Mosque to pay last respects

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at the National Mosque to pay his last respects to the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at the National Mosque to pay his last respects to the late Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr Zambri Abdul Kadir and the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, arrived at around 1 pm today.

Also present to pay their last respects were the Cabinet Ministers including both Deputy Prime Ministers, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

In addition, the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform), Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said; Minister of Communications, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil; Minister of Plantations and Commodities, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani; and Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefli Ahmad.

Also present was former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, breathed his last at 7.10 last night at the National Heart Institute (IJN), Kuala Lumpur.
