MADINAH, May 2 - A briefing session will be held for Malaysian pilgrims who are here before leaving for Mecca.
Madinah Zone 2 Manager Shahidan Ishak said this was to ensure that pilgrims receive complete guidance and accurate information to perform Umrah and Hajj.
"We will inform the pilgrims, for example, where to intend to perform Umrah. Take the example of the miqat in Bir Ali, so when we reach that location we can carry out that matter. Only when we arrive at Bir Ali can we intend to perform Umrah and then go to Mecca."
"So without a briefing, perhaps the pilgrims will also wonder about the preparations and equipment they have before leaving for Mecca," he said.
Shahidan said this when met by reporters here.
Meanwhile, Tabung Haji (TH) has also provided a guidance and pilgrimage counter at the Madinah Operations Office to make it easier for pilgrims to obtain information related to Umrah and Hajj.
A total of 122 out of 632 TH personnel for this year's Hajj season are stationed in Madinah to ensure that the Duyufurrahman Hajj pilgrimage runs smoothly and perfectly.
