KUALA LUMPUR, May 1 - An atmosphere full of enthusiasm and excitement enveloped the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil today when more than 10,000 workers from various sectors attended to enliven the National Level Workers' Day Celebration 2025.
Various positive reactions were received from the participants who described the celebration this time as more lively and meaningful.
According to SWCorp Malaysia staff, Nooraini Md Akhir, she was excited to see the presence of various levels of workers.
"We must be excited, because it's not just us but various sectors, whether public, private, or statutory bodies, are participating. We just heard the announcement that attendance has reached 10,000 people."
Meanwhile, Mohd Shairazi Yahya, one of the employees of the Malaysian Timber Industry Board, said that this celebration is a symbol of appreciation for the workers who are the backbone of the country's development.
"We are here by invitation to celebrate Workers' Day 2025. I feel very proud and appreciated because today we are celebrated as workers."
Meanwhile, Mohd Ezab Ab Halim from Samsung Electronics Malaysia described this year's celebration as the most lively compared to before.
"This year was very lively. Before, there were only around 3,000 participants, this time 10,000. The Prime Minister's speech was also solid. Hopefully next time we can do even better."
Themed "Pekerja Kesuma Bangsa", this year's celebration not only expresses appreciation to workers, but also strengthens the spirit of unity among Malaysians who work hard for the progress of the country.
