GUA MUSANG, May 3 — Preparations for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2025 (LIMA’25) are now fully complete, with the event ready to welcome exhibitors, delegates, and visitors from May 20 to 24.
Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari announced that the 17th edition of the exhibition jointly organized by the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Global Exhibitions and Conferences Sdn. Bhd. (GEC) has reached its final stage, which includes the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with both domestic and international agencies.
Our preparations are 100 percent complete. We are now finalising arrangements to ensure smooth participation from the industry and international delegates. LIMA is a significant platform, as it highlights both maritime and aerospace sectors and fosters deeper cooperation, particularly among ASEAN nations,” he said.
He made the statement while attending the MADANI Village Veterans Programme at the Tengku Muhammad Fa-iz Petra Jamek Mosque.
Also in attendance were Deputy Director General of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Veterans Affairs Department, Sophian Isswandy Ismail, and Galas State Assemblyman, Mohd. Syahbuddin Hashim.
Adly added that LIMA’25 is expected to bring various benefits to Malaysia, including the enhancement of defense and industrial partnerships with participating nations. He expressed hope that the event will proceed smoothly as planned.
