Kuala Selangor, Segamat still affected by floods

KUALA LUMPUR, April 25– As of 6:00 a.m. this morning, a total of 369 individuals from 87 families have been affected by the floods in the Kuala Selangor district of Selangor.

This number reflects a decrease from the 597 individuals from 144 families who were reported to be affected as of midnight last night.

According to information provided by the Disaster Portal of the National Disaster Control Centre (NDCC), which is under the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), only one temporary evacuation centre (PPS) has been established in the Kuala Selangor district.

In addition to Selangor, the state of Johor has also been impacted by the floods.

As of 6:00 a.m. this morning, a total of 41 individuals from 12 families remain affected by the floods in the Segamat district of Johor.

This situation involves one PPS operating in the district.
