KOTA TINGGI, October 24th - A full report on the KD Pendekar incident, which sank in Tanjung Penyusop, Kota Tinggi, last August, will be available in the near future.

Minister of Defense, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said,the Salvage Operation for the refloating of the ship involved, has presently been completed.

He said this after attending the Second Series 2024 Champion Arrow Exercise, at Tanjung Logok Target Field, Kota Tinggi.

On August 25th, the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) confirmed that the KD Pendekar suffered a leak, believed to be due to an underwater object violation.

All 39 crew involved were successfully rescued after efforts to stabilise the ship failed and it subsequently sank.
