KUALA LUMPUR, February 16- The number of people affected by the floods in Sabah remains at 54 from 13 families as of this morning and midnight last night.
The Portal Bencana, National Disaster Control Centre (NDCC), National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) recorded that all affected residents were still housed in a PPS, as of 6.00 this morning.
"The affected area is Kinabatangan," according to the data.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) expects a wind concentration to occur in Sarawak from tomorrow until February 19, which has the potential to cause thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds for a prolonged period.
METMalaysia Director-General Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip in a statement also predicted dry and hot weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius in most areas of the northern peninsula for the next three days.
