PUTRAJAYA, Oct31 - No Malaysians have been reported affected by the floods that hit eastern Valencia, Spain, following continuous heavy rainfall since October 29.
In a statement, Malaysia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy in Madrid, stated that it is monitoring the flood situation.
Malaysia also expressed condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Spain, especially to those impacted by the flooding.
"Malaysia prays for the swift recovery of the injured and that restoration efforts for property and infrastructure proceed smoothly," the statement read.
Meanwhile, Malaysians in the affected area are advised to remain vigilant and follow the latest guidelines issued by local authorities.
