KUALA LUMPUR, April 26- The Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower), one of the country's most iconic landmarks, officially reopened today with a refreshed appearance and new attractions, drawing significant interest from both local visitors and international tourists.

Now operating under new management, the KL Tower features a range of premium offerings, including the exclusive Orbit and Hemisphere panoramic restaurants, as well as luxurious event halls designed for hosting special occasions.

An RTM crew survey conducted as early as 9 a.m. observed that the area surrounding the KL Tower was bustling with visitors eager to experience the 421-meter-tall structure.

Among the enthusiastic visitors were students from Aceh, Indonesia. Feronudy Kevin de Bobik Berge expressed that the visit to KL Tower was an extraordinary experience for him.

“I have been to Kuala Lumpur three times, but this is my first visit to the KL Tower. I am very happy, especially because I get to experience it with my parents and friends,” he said.

Another visitor from Aceh, Cutnally TM Ali, shared that the visit to the KL Tower added significant value to his teaching journey with students.

“I have read a lot about the KL Tower, so I wanted to see it for myself. The cleanliness is very impressive and I really appreciate the forest area surrounding it, which is over 130 years old. I will take this experience back to Aceh to teach my students the importance of preserving the environment,” he said.

For Professor Syamsul Rijal Ma, a lecturer at the University of Ar Raniry, visiting the KL Tower for the first time provided a new perspective on the beauty of Kuala Lumpur.

“It is truly inspiring to see the entire city from above. I also had the opportunity to learn about the history of the tower, which added to the experience,” he said.

The KL Tower had previously been temporarily closed to the public to undergo maintenance work and improvements under its new management.
